did you tested it on legendary? because some weapons felt so op and others to weak

can you make the smg and ar behave a little like this?

So you basically want him to make the weapons behave inline with what you believe to be correct even though 80% of this forum disagree vehemently with your views?

Introduction
Today is the last day of your lives, soldiers.
Welcome to Sector 09, where you will face your inevitable death in the city of Mombasa. This ODST-Inspired Firefight will teach you the environment and the enemies you will encounter by progressing in difficulty the more waves you defeat. Timeline
2012
-Firefight Sector09 was conceived
-Massive BSP provided many opportunities, including the idea of minigames
-BSP size would prove too large, and would later be redesigned Three more times
2014
-Alpha Video is released
-New BSP is designed after many issues (gameplay, scale, etc.)
-New BSP proved to be too claustrophobic and even worse gameplay
-motivation is very slim
2015
-New bsp is designed, in which would take stage in CE3 2015
-Polyonymous is formed, with members from VKMT.
-Polyonymous Decides to finish Sector 09 as an easy project for the young mapping team
-Sector09 reaches points never achieved before, with the CE3 2015 TRAILER
-Polyonymous Breaks up, Sector 09 production is halted
2016
-Nickster5000 draws a new bsp concept, decides to model it and see how it looks ingame
-the results are absolutely phenomenal
-after new encounters are tested, gameplay proves to be very fun
-All resources / Efforts are combined from last 4 years of Sector 09 development into this version
-Initial Release for Sector 09 on 8/20/16

Firefight Information
As mentioned previously, this firefight takes a major inspiration from halo 3: ODST. It behaves and functions very similar to Halo 3: ODST.
Firefight Wave Progression
-5 Waves consist of 1 round
-3 rounds consist of 1 set
A very useful tip for you is that the First two sets are on normal difficulty. After you begin Set 3 (Wave 31), “Legendary mode” activates. When Legendary mode is activated, the firefight is set at its most difficult. The pool in which the waves are randomly selected has been reduced to the hardest waves in the firefight.
Ranks
The more waves you defeat, the higher your rank will be. Here is a breakdown of how many waves you must defeat to earn each rank:

Private – Survive wave 1
Corporal – Survive Wave 5
Sergeant – Survive Wave 15
Warrant Officer – Survive Wave 30
Captain – Survive Wave 60
General – Survive wave 100
In the future, more ranks and DLC will be added at the discretion of the authors of this map.

The initial release of Sector 09 is extremely fun and enjoyable, but it is far from perfect. Depending on the community response and feedback, there will be patches fixing any critical bugs in this firefight, and new content to make the firefight even better.

I'm so glad I can finally share this project and its evolution throughout the past 4 years. Something you guys should know is that this is an "inital release". Depending on how busy I get, and community response, I want to keep updating and adding new features to this firefight. I plan on making any critical patches if anything happens to go wrong (with the testing storm and a few other select people have done, the firefight seems extremely stable). If you have any feedback, please do not hesitate to post it to this thread. I appreciate all feedback, and I will consider it in the next update.

Made it to 17 on my second run, such fun!

A few suggestions though if you maybe so kind as to consider them since you hinted at future dlc and patches I figure now is the time to make a start on ideas.

1. I would like the map to be possibly bigger and more usable cover to be placed here and there, currently even when crouched some walls fail to shield the player from the projectiles.

2. The Wraiths are kind of silly since it's easy to duck under the bridge spam a few plasma's or snag it with the a few rockets.

3. For some reason brutes attack elites in ghosts. They stop when they see the player but it's weird.

4. I'm a little confused weapon wise are we not supposed to pick covenant weapons up? Or are we only allowed to sometimes? Because I was experiencing weird stuff trying pick up alien tech. For the first couple of waves I couldn't utilise any of the enemy combatants arms but then in between some waves I managed to pick up the carbine and the brute shot.

5. Everything is too dark! I know the idea was to encourage the use of VISR mode but I don't like being in VISR all the time. If you could brighten up spots in the map so everything isn't black or orange that would be way cool.

First off, brilliant absolutely quality.

It's a bit too dark however as I'm sure others have stated and I got to nine myself on my first try but honestly I don't know how to deal with the Ghosts lol

I'm sure people in this thread have other, better suggestions but I just wanted to exclaim my appreciation.

Great work, Nickster 5000! I really have only one suggestion/complaint (even though I am kind of torn on the issue of whether or not to brighten the map, as some have suggested; I'm usually fine with using the VISR most of the time). Could you implement some form of checkpoints? The reason being that firefights can take a good long time to play to completion. I was going through yesterday and got through 10+ waves but had to stop eventually due to time, but I still had a bunch of lives left.

The checkpoints could be like on Firefight: Descent, where you can save at any point, or they could be auto-checkpoints after a certain number of waves. I'm quite good at staying in cover and waiting for the enemies to come to me or picking them off with scope weapons, so I take a little longer to play and don't die as much. I usually play things on heroic the first time, so that might be why I was surviving pretty well, but the waves increase in difficulty, so they soon get pretty hard. I would dearly appreciate having some checkpoints! Other than that, I love this firefight! So atmospheric!

Just stay in cover and use either the rocket launcher, or, barring that (since it's on the more inconvenient side of the map), just use small, accurate weapons fire. Ghosts go down surprisingly fast if you hit them with enough shots from a scope weapon, such as a pistol. I know that I hardly ever used the rocket launcher and sniper rifle on this one because I was hiding out on the side with all the pistols, SMGs, and health kits. I only ran out of cover occasionally to refill my shotgun shells or grab the original non-silenced pistol. :)

Alternatively, you could do what someone else mentioned and just wait for the brutes to knock over the ghosts piloted by elites, since that seems to be a bug in the game at this point, lol.
