Quote: --- Original message by: IsxzFlanker, do you have some One Drive container with the original tags from the campaign? The Delicon20's tag pack has some problems to compile and missed tags. Or at least, is there a way to extract the campaign maps without corrupting tags? Thanks in advance.
Urrrrrrrrr........I literally just googled the guys request. I also don't have a one drive account.
But I understand why you would want un-corrupted campaign tags and scripts since the HEK just destroys the recorded animations and stuffs.
Here is a tip why not try using zealot teams campain scripts? They work flawlessly from what I have heard.
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=3424 Or you could always try the extractor method which will probably demand a little scripting knowledge incase a couple of parenthisis go awry.
http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=41859 Regarding the issue of extracting tags without corrupting them doesn't the real time cache viewer do that?
Load up halo and then your game select any tag from the drop down list of files and folders and then use "save tag as" to extract the tag you need.
Though it is a very slow process unless I some how missed a batch xtract feature.....
Other than that you could try the forerunner of the hek+
(c wat I did thar?):
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4279 Which according to CMT doesn't corrupt half as many tags as the original and newer versions of the hek+ do.
Oh and there is one another thing which is to use
combustion to convert halo pc maps to haloce. This would be very useful if you are not sure where exactly you got any of the campaign maps which are compatible with custim edition from.
Convert using comubstion and then try ripping the tags using either of the two methods above and hopefully everything should work out.
Really other than that there is nothing else to my knowledge which can allow the user to rip content from maps and then have that same content work flawlessly upon compilation and of course in game.
Unless some sneaky little peeps have a few utilities tucked far away from the needy eyes of the public.
Oh OpenSauce IDE has an option to extract tags and stuff too I think but I believe the feature wasn't fully implemented correctly.....which is unfortunate.
Hope all this helps fams!

Btw thanks to altis for mentioning the ability to rip stuff using sprinkles editor in another thread which I somehow remembered.
