I like carbines. Too much probably.

So I have been working on a custom map, and I am now encountering a glitch that causes an exception when I try to use game options to switch teams.

So i've said this before and I have no idea why I'm saying it again but whteva.

. Recap any significant changes you made to your scenario before your map started crashing.

. Compare that to the changes you made recently and debug every eventuality.

. If it is a problem related to teams you probably have set up spawn points, item indexes or net game flags incorrectly.

. MAKE FUTURE CHANGES INCREMENTALLY AND TEST THOROUGHLY BEFORE ALTERING YOUR WORK FURTHER.

That last point is a very good idea, and I should do that. But I didn't. Cuz I'm stupid. It's not a problem with spawn points. I haven't been able to see what happens if a blue player joins.

Redo your net game flags and player starting points then.

Have you done anything to your globals?

Not using a custom biped. The spawn points work. Tested in slayer. Team-switching works on other maps. Of note, the exception occurs well before the respawn timer runs out. Tested with a 15 second respawn, exception occurs with 13 seconds left. 10 second respawn, excep at 8, etc.

I really have no idea what I'm talking about here but maybe it's a sound issue?

Also, is there nothing produced in debug.txt?
