Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone has created a mod that allows you to sightjack someone and see exactly what someone else is seeing? I want to set up a sort-of spectator mode for my server and stream it on twitch so people can watch people playing on my server. Sightjacking is close but not being able to see the HUD or the player's gun or anything makes it not as enjoyable.

Hit Function 7 with hac 2 installed.

Thought I might add that the ability to figure out just how well equipped your foes are falls under the "cheaty" category IMAO.

Which is probably why btcc never implemented it.

Yes this let's you see someone's POV, but you don't see their HUD/Gun/Radar/etc. I figured I could find a way to do this and restrict the ability by IP or to admin's only or something. That way not everyone can do it and screenwatch.

I suspect that what CYRiX is getting at is that it would be cool if you could see your teammates' screen in 2v2, like a pseudo-splitscreen.

Not sure if this is possible, I think it's been discussed before...

EDIT: Actually after reading your post on Open Carnage it looks like he's trying to get a pseudo-spectator mode. Could be really cool. Like if an extra player would be placed outside the map like in the NHE mod, and he would sightjack different players to broadcast on Twitch­.
