Your model refers to a shader that doesn't exist.

Tool always says some shaders are undefined. Try to recompile. As for that bit at the top I've never seen that before.

To quote myself. And if you are using existing textures from HEK, use the same name the textures have for the materials in 3ds max. This will sort the issue out for you.

To clarify further on the problem you are experiencing.


You are either:

1. Using custom textures which do not have Shaders pre-made to support said textures.

2. You are using a texture which does have a shader pre-made for said texture but you have named the texture incorrectly in the shader name slot within 3DSMax's Compact MAT Editor.

I do remember covering this issue within part 17 which I will upload later this coming week. But if your feeling a little impatient I spent 12 seconds surfing the web, here is one finding which I found particularly useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQHGx9paHlo

That reminds me of when Tool pro broke my old PC. Somehow it corrupted a ton of my files and I was just barely able to recover all of my tags. The few tags that got corrupted were easily recreatable. Such a shame :(

Eh go ahead if you want but I should make it clear that I haven't given up. I have just been set back.

TBH I'm finding it difficult to even function correctly without my 1.6ghz power house.

I need a biped to cry on.

If you have had no such luck with ingaming your test bsp then I firmly suggest you watch p:18 which will serve as a trouble shooter/VT/Guide.

This might be a bit too late but are you still going to do that livestream?

Ive been doing it over the course of the past... Whenever I posted it. The old ones are probably still on my twitch stream I think. If theres actual interest, I can properly organize times, but its mostly been just kinda whenever so far. I think you can like subscribe to my channel to get an email when I go live. If theres enough interest though, I might just make a thread for it.
