Hey Everyone,
I have gone into photoshop and created a text logo in which I want presented on one of the walls in my map. I have taken all of the correct steps necessary to make sure the alpha channels are correct. I then unwrapped this picture on a plane on the wall. I want it to only display the text, but it displays an ugly white background. I tried replacing the .bitmap file with one of the decals I made for my ships a while back (which works), and it did the same thing, so I have figured out it has something to do with the BSP or the shader_environment tag.
Does anyone know any solutions to get this working? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

This happened me, some days ago with a flashlight HUD bitmap. When you are exporting the .tiff from Photoshop it will show you a window with some extra options, one box says transparency(or something like that) just mark it and compile it with tool again. that solved my problem I can't send pics cause I'm from my phone right now.

If you are using shader environment, to have transparency use diffuse as normal map.
