Has anyone tried to run Halo PC/CE on a Win 10 machine yet. I'm having no luck so far. Hoping it will be straightened out in the final release.

OS works fine as well. The only issue I've found so far (as was pointed out in the relevant thread) is that the compatibility fix for HAC2 and OS doesn't work with WIndows 10 (nor 8/8.1, if I recall).

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I uninstalled and reinstalled. still NG. I load the program, run the 1.09 update manually but when I start the game I get a message to do a manual update at www.hosthpc.com/update, which goes nowhere. Tried haloupdate.exe, said the program was up to date.

10 is a lot like 8. The start menu is smaller and more like a combination of the old style and the win 8 style. I have no problem with 8 or so far with 10.
I was going to post some screenshots but as I am a new member I have to wait 5 more days. I'll post them when I can. |
