I found this tutorial on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKk_MSZZ0Js And this guy was extracting the maps from Halo CE. So I guess. Right after I do this. I could compile that. Or so. And so that the Elite.MP file would be able to work on that particular map I had? Edited by KAD on Apr 2, 2015 at 03:11 PM Edited by KAD on Apr 2, 2015 at 06:42 PM

In order to extract tags from a map, you nees the HEK Plus.
You can download the HEK+ from here:
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2289
You can find a tutorial on how to use it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvPMvkpIB5E
The tutorial is actually made for placing AI, (which I'm sure will come in handy soon) but it will show you how to use the HEK Plus.
I am given to understand that you are using the bloogulch map. If so, then you need to extract the tags from that bloogulch map and find the bloodgulch.scenario file, which should be located in the levels\test\bloodguch folder. Then, you need to compile the map and run ingame. The player biped should be whatever you set it to in the globals.globals tag.
I hope that this was helpful :)
If you have any futher questions feel free to PM me or continue to post on this thread

Run the HEK+ as an Administrator. If that doesn't work, then try and run it in compatibility mode.
