i changed the shaders of the bigass 2104 map. theres a new tank thats fully destructable (credit goes to me and trauma studios (battlefield 1942 desert combat) for porting the tank over to halo.) if this map works theres a few bugs. recursivly extracting the tags for the falcon has failed me several times..... running into problems with the propellers and the weapons on that.... but other than taht, works pretty well ive gotten the odst pistol to be a crazy powerful semi automatic (binoculars) weapon drop. be careful however as the weapons dropped include a mushroom (4 secks long in stead of 2 minutes or 4 or whatever) . :) you can still pick up gauss rifles. i did that to counteract the effect of the gauss rifle.
i added my special dmr and the h4 dmr with a new shader as well as a shiney hr pistol, and the tank as well as a reach rocket lawn chair!

warnings:
if your getting hit with bombs avoid the weapons dropped! but if youre being helped by an ally the mushroom is only 4 seconds long effect wise.
the h4 dmr has a damage effect that is somewhat blinding for anyone who gets hit.

Is this the first big ass mod?

If I had to guess it's an Abrams given credit to Desert Combat team.

But he mentioned "Battlefield 1942," and the Abrams didn't show up until like... '80s? So I'm hoping it's a Sherman or something.

I just said he credited the makers of Desert Combat. Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat. Look it up. It's a mod about Desert Storm.

Only a couple seconds in and you can tell this needs loads more work, there is a lot of weapon saying there on thing and are something else.
The DMR is not needed or you could or replaced the on that was already in the map, the snow snows inside.

Just needs more work before it should of been posted.... its still cool though

To be fair, to me, "1942" + "desert combat" = the North African Campaign of World War II. A shame that this isn't the case in this context, but I guess it's always good to have more tanks in my Halo either way.

It's Ok, but it needs some more work. It's fun-ish.

its going to be updated in the future with some extra goodies/bugfixes... but for now i just figured id upload it anyways so i can get further testing done and see what people think.

Probably has something to do with that one being custom and this one being ripped from modders of a better game.

I'm not sure I see the logic in adding it to this map, though. I'd have thought you of all people would find cause to object.

guys. this isnt a contest about whos got the best mods/tags/modeling time. im glad you all have time to sit here and work on halo maps all day and beat eachother off with your shiney tags.. i just wanted to show you all what i can throw togehter with a surely dying os that bsod 2 times every day.. i had permissions errors up the blank plus corruption beyond salvation so i can safely say that this is not the final release. not even close. my tags were quite corrupt. (windows 8.1 itself was corrupted 2 days later and now im on se7en due to money hoarders at microsuck releasing a garbage os.. [such as 8.1 ] )

anyways. il be working on improving it unless you all want to be typical teenagers and play the 1-up game. lol.... i dont have a lot of time. i got a job, and a girlfreind, and a lot of people who depend on me every day to make their lives a bit better. halo is a hobby- a game. not a galactic conquest for domination of all the spanish speeking people who still play. XD

My rating for this map is: 2 types of magnum/3 types of dmr

better than some. yeah i love the dmrz

this was mostly a vehicle test and a weapons test map

Bug:

If you close Halo and try to get back into the game afterwards,
Halo CE will just keep throwing error "Unable to join the server" until you delete the map and have it auto re-download again.

dude. erryone knows what weapons are which. 10+ years of halo 5 years of reach and 2+ years of 4?

hopefully dispite being disorganised youall can see that i put timeand effort into mythings, and given the state of my pc at the rate of bsods per day, added with corrupt os and such i call it a "masterpeice."

Would you believe all the times he has either embarrassed me or insulted me? Fact is I'm partly hurt by the fact however I make these quotes to make fun of him. Besides I've learned a lession, never care about what people say and just laugh at them being stupid.
