It'll look different based on your monitor settings. (It doesn't look too dark to me.)

I think I managed to (almost) replicate aLTis's settings...





...And it really looks cool in some places if you want to take screenshots, but it's awful to play that way, so I guess I'll stay with the old version or use complete different settings for this thing.

Does this work for Halo 2: Vista? If so, can someone share pics? I don't have it on my PC atm.

d3d9.dll is not work for Halo 2: Vista. It's a DX10 game, you can put dxgi.dll in.

Ah cool.

The latest version works with DX9 through DX11 and I believe has a DX8 converter if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: Also, I think you should turn down that edge blur a bit because the edge blur in those screenshots kind of take away the point of the ingame HUD. I just turn mine so that it is barely visible. *I don't have it on in those pics and stuff though I think.
