So? Whats wrong with having a easy to find area for classic single player maps. I mean, the universal ui does have a section for classic campaign.

It's no problem at all. "n rips" is just a bit of an epigram around here.

Because they're technically not outdated. Renamon never released an updated version of his interpretation of the maps.

The ones by Austen are far superior and totally different maps to Renamon's. Albeit they're the same campaign.
You might wanna remove those links and replace them with Austen's. I dunno just so new people don't get confused. Your call.

Well, right now there is no direct link to each map individually. And is his improvement complete and updated?

Anyway i feel like an idiot right now. No one ever said those maps (ported by Renamon) werent good. Never knew porting from what should be the same engine would be so hard.

All single player maps for Halo Custom Edition are modified versions because the Halo CE game was not distributed with single player maps or capability.

As to the other posters query about why one version was not replaced with a newer version: It is because there are no official versions, like the multi-player maps, so both versions are valid and left for the individual to decide.

Since I run the site it would logically make me the one to decide what maps are best. And I can guarantee you that NO ONE wants that.

Still perhaps there should be a section for mostly unmodified versions of the original campaign. And perhaps a section for Firefight maps. I mean, Lumoria has its own section despite technially only being 4 maps (Episode 1 and all 3 Episode 2 parts).

"mostly unmodified" is an oxymoron in this context. They are either modified or Official.

This I will take under advisement as there appear to much more of them than before.
Besides the fact that Lumoria was a fully scripted and complete campaign they were politic enough to suck up to me and give me a major role knowing that my vanity would force me to give it it's own section.
