When I try doing sv_say "Good game" It always says command sv_say cannot be executed now.What am I doing wrong? It's on LAN.

Sounds like you enabled "-console" but forgot to add in "-devmode"

Doesn't HAC2 automatically put on devmode?

Try writing "devmode 1" in comsole.

Actually, it sounds like you are trying to run a server command on either a dedicated server or a server that isn't yours. If it is your dedicated server you would want to set a rcon password in the init.txt, something like:

sv_rcon_password "GayLord7"

Then when you are in the server you could run a command like this:

rcon "GayLord7" sv_say "YSlayer12 might be a homosexual."

Well then you're going to have to manually add -devmode to your shortcut like nihao mentioned. I'm not sure how HAC2 enables devmode, but it doesn't seem to enable specific sv commands as it is supposed to. However, by doing so you will ONLY be able to host a LAN server as options for joining games and creating a game connected to the internet will be disabled. Hosting a dedicated server with rcon would be your best option. Otherwise create 2 separate HaloCE shortcuts, one normal and one with devmode enabled specifically for hosting a LAN server.

And actually you broke the commands, not fixed them. A rcon password cannot have more than 8 characters. You also broke the example sv_say command.

You should have full access to the devmode commands. If you can post any specific examples of a command not working (edit: apart from sv_say, I'll investigate that one) then I can take a look.
