Both of them are good but halo cea's soundtrack is a bit odd to my liking.

Couldn't stand the CE:A music. Had to revert to classic music in the options menu. It just seemed like 343 tried too hard to make the music orchestral-sounding. Kinda cut the balls out beneath the sound.

You can't beat the original flood theme and covenant dance. But the remastered editions aren't bad either. I think it has a lot to do with the nostalgia feeling.

CE:A's music is good but some sound a tad awful in a way but the only tracks that count for me is cloaked in blackness and lions and tigers.

I liked Cloaked in Darkness, Installation 04 (except for the choir), Honest Negotiation, and all the Flood themes except for the remake of Shadows.

CEA's sound track seemed "punchy" and too vibrant in some respects. Almost like they tried to incorporate that new fangled dubstep rubbish.

It's kind of crappy come to think about it.
