A friend of mine here on the forums (Sos) recently started hosting a dedicated server for a new clan. So far, joining the server has lead to many very strange problems that we cannot explain. Now, when hosting rpg_beta6_2, everything is totally fine. We can all join, good connections, everything is fine. However, when the map switches to a map custom made by Sos, a multitude of issues arise.

1. Neither myself nor Sos can join.
2. I receive a message saying "Unable to connect to the game server!". Sos receives a message saying "Could not join game server. There may be connection issues."
3. This issue, so far, only affects me and Sos. One other person was able to join with no problems.

We are at a loss as to what could be wrong with this map in particular, and therefore we have no idea where to start at attempting to fix it. Anybody who has any idea as to what could be wrong, please reply. Thanks!

Enter "hac_flush_cache" in the console and restart Halo CE.

I'd like to point out we all have the same version of the map and the server also runs this same version.

Edit: thank you Altis, worked.

This happens when the mapmaker re-compiled their .map file with the same name as a previous build. To avoid, the mapmaker should use a naming scheme for different builds.
