So I've created a model for a building that I would like to use in a map. It has been created in Blender, but I'm not quite sure where to go from here. I've heard that Blitzkrieg is the program that I am supposed to use, but it seems to only have support for 3DS Max. Can somebody please tell me the steps for making my model into a tag that will work with the HEK?
Thanks!

Being a 2010'r I am surprised you don't know this but no problem.
As of right now I am pretty sure there isn't an export script for blender, cinema4d, mudbox e.t.c
So what you will have to do is export your blender project file into a OBJ format and either open that up in gmax or 3dsmax and export from there.
Gmax is free, 3ds isn't unless you have a student licence.
Maya is supported, but not to the length of 3dsmax.
In any case, you will need to use blue streak jms exporter.
Which you will need to install into the
gmax\scripts
or 3dsmax2010\scripts folder
Hope that helped!

Thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunately, Gmax seems not to launch once installed, and 3DS Max trial won't even install thanks to their awful browser system. I'll keep looking for options, but thanks!

Gmax not launching seems weird. I doubt your pc specs are to blame since gmax was invented before christ. I guess what you can do is make a shortcut for gmax, go into the properties of that gmax shortuct and in the target box, hit space so the syntax is no longer highlighted and there also should be a space, between the prior letter or symbol and what you are going to type, Just type in, -h then hit apply. Run the shortcut, eventually as gmax loads there should be a driver option. Choose a different option from the 1 selected. I.e : HEIDI or Directx. OPENGL never lets me load 3dsmax, so I use the directx option. And if you require 3dsmax I can download it for you, and upload it via the cloud.
