im trying to set up an ammo counter but all my bitmaps for the counter are separate files... :/

I dont know about ammo counters exactly, but to get multiple maps into once you need to create a sequence.

You need to create a sprite in order to do this.

Sprites = Image permutations, you can have multiple bitmap images in 1 file if you organize them correctly.
