So, I have an animation importer/exporter as long as a gbx.model importer/exporter. I have some animations I want to import in a model (an assault rifle to be specific) but I don't know how to do it :( I work in gmax. I don't want something detailed, just the steps I have to follow to import just a firing animation to my assault rifle. I have been working on it for quite a long now and I don't want to stuck at the animations! Your help will be really apreciated

I use 3ds Max, but the whole process should be the same. You will need a set of FP rigged arms though (although, technically, I think you could just rip them as well).
You need to click on the script part, load the GBX model importer script, and it should open a dialogue window. If not, on the right side of the program, where there are tabs for creation, editing, and 4 others click on the far right one, and somewhere under it there should be something about maxscripts.
Then you find the model(s) you need, import them (making sure they are rigged) and then yer good for that part.
For the animation import, do the same process, go into weapons\assault rifle\assault rifle.model_animations and import that. Then you should be good. I believe the animation importer (assuming it's from project bluestreak) you select the animation from a list before you import.

I believe the animation importer does exporting as well. When you run the script, it should have a tab or button or something for exporting. You would save you JMW (or whatever format it exports to. there are like 3 and each has a different use and it would be worth your while to look them up) file to you data directory, then you just compile the animation with tool.
