You know what really grinds my gears about HCE? People who think those Latinos mentioned above are infringing upon their English-ness.

Because the endless hate towards latino mappers is absolutely ridiculous. It all boils down to either "they don't speak english" or "they make bad maps" yeah well half the people here still make bad maps and I'm betting a vast majority of these kids here are american high schoolers which means they're probably taking spanish as a foreign language anyway. Tough damn cookies; other people make maps you don't like and speak another language, deal with it

If I had to choose something that quote "grinds my gears" about halo ce multiplayer, I'd have to choose the laggy bullet detection. I hate having to aim ahead of my targets just to do damage with any weapon. I 'd love to be able to just shoot at the actual person and get hit markers, but alas, I guess it was not possible with 2003's technology.

Allright, this is completely off topic, but since you guys seems concerned... The game lags, the engine lags, and again, THE GAME LAGS! I don't know how to explain it that way bet when you hit a player directly, the bullet won't hit him because he was moving. Stupid, I know, but it's the engines fault. By shooting next to him, the bullet cathes up with him and BOOM, headshot!

So "leading" it is called.... Cool... "You know what also really grinds my gears? Leading!" ( Yeah let's keep it in topic :D )

players rarely hit the brakes on the warthog to pick up a gunner or passenger and just drive off while teammates are shooting at the driver to get his attention.

and that goes for ALL the halos... especially H4.

The worst thing ever is when in you stop to pick up someone when you're driving a warthog and the little son of a ... tosses a grenade at you to flip you and steal the drivers seat. That's why I never go to pick you up xnx, just being cautious, I'd love to if I wasn't afraid of getting a 'nade tossed at me.

I would also put crashing while driving and having someone else steal the driver's seat. Except I do this all the time when the driver is horrible, so I've tried to stop getting mad when people do it to me. EVEN WHEN I'M A BETTER DRIVER

What grinds my gears? The "Pro Sphere" server getting turned into a locked scrim server. That server had a killer mapcycle and high level players (at the right times).

Also the "pinger" thing, as well as people that find any excuse for their poor performance. I even heard "oh, this is a Sapp server? I don't like the pings in Sapp servers. Oh you have no lead as well? Screw this let's go to my vanilla server"
