I began to build a second new weapon. I copied my first weapon, and reasigned all of the tags to the correct files. It was working fine until I recompiled my map. I had it set to spawn with both my 2 new weapons. But after I recompiled my map, I spawned with 3 weapons. an assault rifle, a pistol, and then my first custom weapon. The second custom weapon SPAWNED on my map at the 0,0,0 coordinates when there is nothing set to spawn anywhere on my map at all. I checked the .scenario file, and it's still set for me to spawn with only 2 weapons, not 3.

I've gotten a tone of weird glitches and errors before, but I have no idea how I managed to pull this off... lmfao
Any ideas on whats wrong with the .weapon file?

that makes sense, but would it be a tag within the .weapon file that would be causing this? I don't understand how sounds would work with one weapon and not another. I believe that it would be the animations that might make a model incompatible even though IDK for sure. I replaced every tag and it still didn't work. So I copied the old one from the first weapon and repasted it over the 2nd weapon. Its now spawning proprerly and I'll have to go through it one tag at a time.. lol. and thanks for the info Clicker. If i find out which tag type it was I'll post here.

yup! Same with the assault rifle. It turned out way cooler than I thought it would. It's working like a battle rifle now, but I can't figure out how to get the ammo counter on the weapon to display 36 instead of 60 lol.

Edit: I found out what was wrong with the weapon file. I changed the $$$ Weapon $$$ label, which is used in the animations protocols. So it didn't know what to do with it since it had an animation, but it was a wrong animation.

theres no pain in dennises job. In just a few clicks swagger gets banned. Simple as that.
