In the last few weeks Halo CE has been unplayable for me. Every time I join a server I get kicked within seconds for high ping, sometimes banned. My internet isn't the best but isn't the worst either, 5 mbps down, 0.35 mbps up wired Ethernet connection. It is not choppy at all. About a month ago my ping was really high but I wasn't getting kicked for high ping. Now, all of the sudden I'm getting kicked and banned left, right, and center for high ping. Even when I am someone miraculously not kicked the warping is so bad i'm teleporting everywhere, when I lead I have to lead about 1/4 of the way across Blood Gultch. About 2 months ago the game was totally playable, now its not. I have not idea whats happening.

I got 12ms Ping, 5.05 Mbps download and 0.93Mbps Upload speeds
In my defense, ive been experiencing varied internet connection issues and lag for the past week. and i have a youtube video of me playing HCE with only slight lag and very little target leading that was created a little over a month ago *realizes I'm not the op* woops...i was just posting what i got from that site...... |

This has been happening with my copy of H2 since the dawn of time. I did everything everyone told me too, but to no avail. Sorry. Get betur interwebz

Start with what has changed on/in your computer since it was working well. Did you install or update any software? Are you running any background processes you weren't before? Have to tried stopping all unnecessary processes before you play like Xfire Itunes, instant messaging programs or video capture software? Close ANYthing not absolutely necessary for basic computer operation. Did you update any drivers such as the video driver? Are you using a wireless router? Has your lease designation on your external IP changed since it was working properly. Do you remember which server you were playing on when it was working and if it is still up and you connect to it is your ping high or the same as when it was working OK?
