Just wanted to make a little topic showing this, I am one of the interviewees in this (talked about CE in general and Lumoria). The writer from Lumoria is helping produce this with the help from a couple of his friends, and a kick starter page (now ended, but you can still donate at their website if you feel compelled enough to do so).

Quote: Community Evolved is a book that aims to explore the past decade of Halo’s fan community whilst interviewing respected members of the community that have made significant contributions. We want to explore every aspect of the community from professional e-sports players, and fan artists, to film makers to talk show hosts and everything and everyone in between.

We plan on releasing multiple versions of Community Evolved including a digital version to read on your computer, phone or tablet, and two print versions – a soft-back and limited hard-back versions. We wanted to be able to allow as many people to enjoy the book as possible and give folks the option of something tangible and memorable that they can put on the shelves.

No not really, Lumoria was just one of the bigger projects that was actually completed for CE, thus why it is in the book. The book is about the entirety of the Halo Community, and CE is just part of that . TM is no longer really a team anymore, as in, nor L0d3x or I work in CE. We have been continuing our game creation efforts elsewhere, hopefully sometime in the coming months you will see what we have been up too.

Should be more than only Lumoria TBH.

It's still something.

Despite how much hate Lumoria gets around here people still seem to like it. It did incredibly well in the CE3 13 polls, winning "Best project of CE3 2012" and TM was in the top for "Best thing to happen to CE"

The fact that CE is covered at all is pretty awesome.

Though maybe a more community based thing like "CE3" would have been cool too, ya know, since there's like a ton of projects in that...

... If you read my last two posts, or even cared to look at the website or kickstarter, you'd know the book is about the ENTIRE community of Halo, ranging from Halo all the way to Halo 4, community creations, art, and much more. In my interview, I did happen to talk about CE's community in general, a few others in it and stuff like that, although Lumoria (and my past) was more of the main subject.

CMT is probably gonna be mentioned in it (they are pretty well known, at least within the Halo CE community).

Lumoria is probably gonna be there...

Maybe Dennis. Maybe. LOL.

And now for CE's small little section (what do we get - 2 or 3 paragraphs?) most of it will be filled with "LUMORIA" despite their being way more to the community.

I just want to know how this thing got 7k worth of funding where my revolutionary unity3d defecation sim only got ten. The market is more or less the same, right?

Should have posted earlier, I would have gladly opened up about my project and the history of others and what everyone did to make this engine still stay alive for all this time, since I have been around since the release of CE.

Yeah man. Taking a poop is about the equivalent of creating content for Halo.

Which is what I more or less discuss, my own project and some of things in the community leading up to all of it, not just by own. I even mention CMT and reference a couple members.

Although you do make a solid point about posting this thread before hand, it may have been good to get some insight in what others may want me to add to the discussion.

At the most it will probably be a couple pages, maybe 3?

You guys need to realize that I do promote the community in this, not simply Lumoria or my own personal intentions. Besides - what else would you want to represent CE as a major project? The only other things I can think of (that were actually finished!) would be some of CMT's great content that actually got completed, CE3, or an interview with Dennis about Halomaps and Halo CE in general.
