Well all my current work is in auto desk right now, nothing pretty to show yet, but i thought i would release a teaser. http://www.gamefront.com/files/23605836/MoDGlennsalphanonreleasemap_zip Works on slayer and race only Every vehicle and the big scenery thing at start and starting points will change, that was simply for testing. If you want to comment please just about the mapp ground or bridges/ race Also i have the long name and protection on in case anyone is foolish enough to try and release the map when its currently half junk. Seems you've managed to mess up the functions on the helicopter somehow. I can resend you a fixed version if you need.

for the helicopter i just extracted and placed it, that and some other vehicles didnt work. you can pm me another copy, but i probably wont use it in this map.
Also yes that thing is from zoids anime, i was able to get the model from a gamecube game via emulator with some tag extractor tool i was trying.
I'm not sure why the bridges would be flickering unless its the bounding radius or because it has no textures right now. I'm currently working on roads right now. If anyone wants to help me with modeling feel free to add me on xfire or pm me. I'm taking my time and am going to do this right so its taking a while.

I keep getting exceptions, I uninstalled Open Sauce and I reinstalled a clean halo ce. I remember hearing that you can't play maps that have spaces or capital letters in the map name, not sure if its true or not. EDIT:solved problem Edited by ZOBI3KING on Aug 18, 2013 at 06:07 PM

I havent tried it with os yet, take the d3d9.dll and move it to your desktop to disable os. I'll put mine on and see if i get your problem.
Also soon sometime today i will edit my other threads last post with the road i'm making unless someone replys. Glenn

Thoughts of this release. Pros
- Big and expansive map
- Has a lot of potential
- No bugs with the bsp so far
- Doesn't seem like you will have to search forever to find enemies like other huge maps
- I like the vehicle paths (could use more hills in the flatland under the bridge though)
Cons
- Feels kind of empty, scenery like rocks, trees, grass, ect. would be nice
- Tagset isn't my cup of tea
- Some tags just feel out of place like most of the vehicles (unless if you're going to make a modern war map, just use classic/well known tagsets like cmts multiplayer tags)
- Warthog goes super sonic speed when it hits max speed (not sure if it's intended to be that fast)
- Bridge could use some more gameplay elements like cover or something like that, but keep it as a vehicle path
- A little bit faster player movement would be useful for this map
Overall I like the map, and would love to see what improvements you are going to make. It seems like your off to a good start, but you have a lot of work to do. A lot of my criticism will probably be useless when you get to later iterations of the map.

If adding water under Bridge remember to add some rocks and/or lily-pads Scenery is good yah know.

Thanks for the reply, the vehicles, scenery and stuff will change most of that are only in for testing. As for cover on the bridge i'm trying to keep it modern realistic and future/halo at the same time, not sure what i can add to it for cover.
The flat area at some point will be water.
Help making scenery would be nice though.
