where do I learn to model?

or its a person who only likes to eat one waffle at a time

or a person who thought 'waffles' would make a pretty good username but it was already taken.

It's possible that he saw waffles's profile and liked his name because he couldn't think anything better or just didn't really feel comfortable with anything else.

I made my account when I saw some newbie asking someone to rip the Halo 4 campaign. I was like "Oh God, he... he's just... I MUST TELL HIM HOW IT WORKS" I was so lazy to think on an original user name, so I "copied" the first I saw, killzone64 :P: "Kill, kill... ehm... Danger_Zone, yeah...".

What if he's just a real newbie here and we're (YOU'RE) giving him a pretty bad impression?

I think you people are getting really paranoid, seems like "Sali really traumatized you guys". And that's a bad way to make this community bigger.

This troll, that troll, I don't agree with that, stop trolling, look this new guy asking for help, troll. I know everyone who is new here have chances of being a troll. But this guy just said "Hi" and asked for help to know how to model for God sake...

E: Though, what Tiel said makes me suspect a little bit but still isn't enough and we haven't seen shemales yet so...

Altheros did a better job. Sali just added more explicit images to the mix. Either way, this community does't really like new people who just pop up from nowhere and post.

Actually the community exists precisely because of new people who just pop up from nowhere and post.

So let's look at the original post of the thread: "where do I learn to model?" This in and of itself is a perfectly valid and reasonable question. There was no subtle inflection or extensive underlying negative message in it, there was nothing sarcastic in the question. It looked to me that someone just wanted to know where to go to learn to model. However several people immediately jumped to the conclusion that the person was a troll.

The polite and proper thing to do would have been to point him/her to places and tutorials on modeling and if you thought he/her was a troll then the only smart thing to do would have been to ignore the post.

Simple really.

What should have been done VS what was actually done^

This community has changed a bit. I'm sure we can agree on that.

man in the few months im around every long time now and then, I have never seen the flames rise so badly as this time around... whatever happened to the teamwork around here? welcome newcomer to the faint world of halo ce, we all await what you have in store :)

You incorrectly read something into what I said that wasn't there. It doesn't necessarily follow that because people didn't do the polite thing or jumped to the conclusion that the post was a troll that they are idiots. There are any number of reasons, none of which did I infer or state.
