You could make a UI.yelo file and it should load (I think.... I've gotten a weird error before where my ui.map got courrupt so OS told me that I needed to get a ui.yelo... idk).

But I'm not sure if theres anything OS can do special for a UI.

I forgot who (Im sorry) but they were working on the DUI which loaded the UI as a single-player map which allowed background stuff

I have a ui.yelo, it was designed for os3.0.0, and it currently doesnt have much use for 3.1.0 or higher; it had version changing widgets, but 3.1.0 lists all server versions defaultly.

Anyways, if you want to show animations, a pvs camera will do it. The reason animations dont show up in ui.map is because there is no player; If there is no players in a cluster (flycam, etc) the objects do not move. All the PVS script commands exist to bypass this (mostly for cinematics, although its fine for ui's too)

theres a thought, could move around, aim, and shoot, while the selection list can be used by arrow keys, enter, and escape. though there could be lag for searching for game servers
