i was just think say you have three grunts if both players shot each of the three grunts would the game work or if there was a automatic turret at the boundaries of the map and it killed someone when they went over the boundary would the players death sync?

You mean like the turrets in Halo 3's snowbound? I'm pretty sure players still take damage from AI even though they may not be syncing. Have you tried it? Maybe you can throw some c_gun_turret ai in bloodgulch with limited visibility and 0 inaccuracy, and see what happens. Maybe get a few buds to play with you and ask them what they see.

Yeah but its not a enemy or a obstacle its just a creative way to have the map end as opposed to just a a building, cliff or worst of all a invisible wall this way at least it feel like there is more to the world and you could go on its just there are incredible powerful turrets from stopping you its one of my favorite things about snowbound or whatever that map was called
