When i try to model my .jms creation, I get this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool model levels\scenery\forge\double_ramp_twostorey Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
C:\Program File (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>
I've 100% ruled out spelling errors as to the reason it does nothing, as when I pressed up and changed 'model' to 'collision-geometry', it does that perfectly fine. Any idea why the modeling in particular is unresponsive?

It doesnt say anything at all? That's weird. Could you pm me the model so I could check?

I have a few suggestions...
1. Is it actually in .JMS format? It could be <name>.JMS.txt (some pcs don't show the file extensions)
2. From personal experience when I had that very same error, I changed it from .jms to .JMS it isn't a big change, just put in capitals, but ever since, my models where spat out the other end fine.
3. Dunno.

Yes it is a JMS file, for the record. Ive done other models before and after, so obviously it's to do with this one in particular. have fun! Edited by Stevedoggen on Jan 23, 2013 at 07:47 AM

Are you absolutely sure you put your jms inside the folder: data\levels\scenery\forge\double_ramp_twostorey\models ?

You are 100% wrong. The folder was called model and it has to be models. Just add s at the end of the folder name.
