Im having a bug issue. When I press SHIFT + F8, sometimes my screen gets "locked." I can no longer look up or down, just left and right. What the heck of hecks? Is it OS's fault (3.0.3) or what?

Wut, no OS 3.1? Why didn't you report it then lol Btcc is usually pretty quick on the bug fixing front

(I think it'd make things a lot more convenient than always holding down F1... plus, the timer. That's not something you get to actually see in-game aside for that countdown)

why not halo 2 and 3 style with a moving bar?
also just used hac2 with os again, looks nice, but theres a problem, whenever I alt-tab now and go back into the game, it crashes, might need a bit more tweaking, but I know its an os/hac2 conflict Edited by rcghalohell on Jun 7, 2014 at 02:06 PM

I'm hopeful it will be expanded upon in the future. in the future I would like to more medals (still missing some of gametypes) in the future I hope the score bar in the future... well, now I can't think of more nothing

In the future I would like OS and HAC2 to be one plugin so that there is less chances of crashing. And more possibilities as well

You need a cookie... New name concepts (Name combonations)! "Open HAC" "Saucey HAC" "HAC Sauce" "HAC Opened" I say either "Open HAC" or "HAC Sauce". But in all seriousness. They should incorporate eachothers stuff together and make one team. They could do a lot to improve Halo CE I think. Well, on the other hand... HAC is compatible with Halo 1 and CE while Open Sauce is only for Halo CE... :l

OHIO? open halo is open? or maybe, HW for halo wonders(making a totally new birth of a great program) and maybe we can get around that incompatibility with this mix... I mean isn't it time we had os for halo? for aliasing support? and motion blur? and bloom? and quicker loading times (very useful for the elder computers some of the other guys use) in other news... I still cant alt-tab back into my game without it crashing... and I know it is a compatibility issue...

I actually like the "OHIO" (Open Halo Iis Open) idea... :3
It's simple, easy to remember, sardonic and sarcastic like everyone in this forum... it's really fitting, if you ask me~

I have some questions about medal packs.
1) Are the packs supposed to replace original ctf announcements with the new audio files like "flag_taken.mp3" etc that can be found form audio folder? When I play ctf, flag captures are announced twice (H1 and HR announcer same time) and the rest are announced with default Halo 1 voice only. I'm wondering if the "problem" is only at my end.
2) Is it possible to align the medals differently and place them to different positions (to match the original chat) by editing certain files? Or are those settings only accessible to developer?

You're more likely to get a response from Bt here on Open Carnage, or over at Modacity.

Would it be possible to add a feature to resize the medals please? They're really small and also they only last 1 or 2 seconds on the screen, it would be better if they lasted a bit longer.

HAC2 isn't compatible with OpenSauce 4.0 at all. My recommendation would be to uninstall HAC2 and never redownload it again, but others may suggest differently.

Quote: --- Original message by: Leo74800HAC2 is not compatible with Open Sauce 4.0 on Windows 10 64bits! There are a couple of ways to circumvent this issue but the most popular way is as follows. 1. Create a new folder and name it what ever you wish anywhere on your pc, I chose the HaloCe root directory because HaloCe is best gaemu 2. Now you want to browse for a file within your HaloCe root directory (that's; "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition") called "dinput8.dll". If you are having trouble locating it try organising your files by type. 3. Now you'll want to cut and paste the "dinput8.dll" into the back up folder as so. Now you should be free to use Hac 2 without any issues. (OS will be effectively non-functional however)

However, if downloads were broken, and it downloaded an updated HAC2, that might have solved it.
