Hi everybody, few weeks ago I've started with map making in Halo CE, I was watching some tutorials on youtube and I noticed that most people use photoshop for all the bitmaps/textures stuff. The problem is that I don't have photoshop (and I can't buy it) and I just have GIMP. Anyone know if I can use it for bitmaps and/or textures?

You can use even MS paint. You just need to export it as .tiff
