You can't do it by being the ideas guy I can tell you that. Ideas are cheap and Mapping teams already have a few of their own ideas that they haven't have the time to implement yet. This also applies for the game industry too. However, if you are able to make an actual prototype for your idea, then that's something that they will consider.
