there are some tutorials, it depends on what are you going to create (scenery, vehicle, biped). The simplest way to do it is to open model in 3ds max. crate a small box, name it frame and move near the model. Then link model to the frame. Before exporting convert model to editable mesh. And then use blitzkrieg or bluestreak exporter to export jms file. Then open tool and write command "tool model <directory>", for example if your model is called superhigh and it is in vehicles/warthog/models. then you need to write "tool model vehicles/warthog".

Before exporting you also need to set up materials wich have same names as the shaders you are going to use. Just watch any tutorial to help you. The way i said to do it is only good for scenery, because it wont have any moving parts or anything like that. For vehicles and bipeds its more complex.
