Hi everyone, I'm new creating maps (Not editing them) so, please understand that I don't know some things. This is the problem, I compiled my map successfully, it had player spawn points for every team, netgame flags, weapons, etc. But when I tried to create a server using it, the map didn't appeared when creating my server, I searched it everywhere and nothing (I had it in the correct location, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps) I also tried to play it using the console, but when it loaded, I appeared nowhere, with no HUD, nothing. Is it a problem with the .scenario or something I could fix in Sapien or Guerrilla?

Open the scenarios in sapien, open starting locations and if its multiplayer, change the "type 0" box to "all games" or if its a single player map, change the type 0 to none.

What do you mean by start it by the console and you can't find it though?

When I opened the console, I typed the map_name [map name] command, but when it loaded, I appeared in a underground place of the map. I revised the .scenario and there's nothing wrong with the map, I don't know what's happening with it.

If you compiled the map and it doesn't show up in maps folder/cannot find map when setting up multiplayer and if you have windows 7 or vista, your windows UAC may be blocking tool from placing the map in the correct directory.

First, to get the map back, go to your maps folder in your haloce directory and then look for a button called "Show compatibility files." This will bring you to the virtual storage folder somewhere in your appdata folder when a program doesn't have permission to put/edit files in c:\. Just copy and paste the map file back into the maps folder and delete the one in the virtual storage and then it should show in your multiplayer map list.

To prevent this from happening again, right click on tool and go to properties, go to compatibility, then click the box that says run this program as administrator and then OK, repeat this for guerilla and sapien as well.

EDIT:: You may want to do this for every tag /scenario that you've edited in sapien/guerilla as well, just use the programs and look for tags that have some sort of yellow lock symbol on the icon, then repeat the virtual storage step thing in those folders

The .map file is placed in the maps folder, not in the AppData folder (And there aren't copies of it), the problem appears when I'm setting the server, all the maps I downloaded or edited, are shown, except my new one, I've set it to be played in multiplayer, all the player spawn points are set in "all games" There are no errors with the map, nothing. But I don't know why it doesn't appear when I'm creating a server.
