I was always curious if it was possible to spawn marines in the sp campaign, either by console or by a mod. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

You would have to open up the level you want to mess with and add AI bots in, for example, a10 (which is the Pillar of Autumn), you would have to find the encounter name, and then ingame use (ai_place "encounter name"). The only thing with this though is that you can create them, but they will only space where there spawn placements are.
Another thing, if no encounters are created, for example on Blood Gulch, you would have to manually add AI and recompile the map to get them to work.
To be honest, creating a map and making it how you want is alot more rewarding then spawning some random dudes in a modified level. I would suggest learning how to map make SP maps if you want to have fun with bots. It isnt terribly difficult, there are lots of tutorials, and it makes you be creative.
Its fun, I swear!
