is possible to have a AI bot as a player? example: kill him an get the kill like with another player .

As far as the Halo CE engine goes, no. But there could be some weird OS thing I don't know about.

Edit: Will they respawn? If they do, will you still get points for killing them?

Well, tectnically i asked kirby how some servers have a player named "server' who isn't really a player, it's just a mindless biped that stands there that you get points for killing. And he told me that's how they did it. The AI_attaching was my own idea :)

It wasn't Kirby. Creator asked me to, then he sent another PM saying that was someone else on his computer and now he's saying i don't have to o_o *sigh* Idk what to do now...Lol.

I didn't tell him *shrug* whomever told him to remove it, hasn't told me (as you can see all of my post still in my scripting thread about breaking the game) I would directly tell you whom I suspect, but that would be like pointing to where this could be used to exploit the most.

Anyways, idk if the ai_attach part would really do much. If you attach AI to players that are correctly in a server, the AI cannot move without you using cinematic controls that detach the players control from their biped. The trapped players bodies should still be acting as if they have players controlling them, its just that their players are nowhere to be found, so they sit idle.

Anyone else here wanting to do a quick test, or should I? Should have basic HCE setup on my laptop, so I can use it to grab a spare body.

Lol, good point, Kirby. As i said, i didn't test it so it's only a theory. And i said why i removed it. lol. But anyway. I'd run a test, but i'm busy and don't have time. Let me know how it works out, guys. So i can know how to improve it.

they still act as normal players; you need a cinematic before they'll move.

only when you have a cinematic active (which means you can't control your own character when they're allowed to move). They will randomly play animations, but they don't move with them or anything, they just stay in place.

I guess you could try spamming on and off a cinematic, so the player and AI take turns moving half a step.

Yes. However I did it in a multiplayer game, using Skys the Limit to enable devmode in order to type core_save.

Where you the host? because think of all the issues halo is gonna have when it goes asking around for the host for everything, if the host no longer exists.
