Okay, so I compile a map in OS Tool, it works great. I try to play, but it decides it isn't going to work today and exceptions. Help, please?

Well, I tried making a normal map also, but it would not even compile. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, except os, and now Halo won't even play any maps, it just screws up.

Well then re-install OS... you can't just uninstall a program without uninstalling an addon for that program which hooks into it.

Well, I reinstalled os and it still will not play mp maps. What is screwed up is it plays sp maps, but not mp. Sorry, masters, I put in the h3 weapons from sandtrap, odsts, and the only thing cmt I used is the flood gbxmodel. The map was just me trying to learn to build an os map.

What does the game tell you when you try a MP map? Is it only online games, and it allows you to create a lan server?

Actually, it is just me bulding maps and practicing, so there is no servers involved. And it STILL won't play custom os sp maps. Annoying.

I'm not trying to cause you of anything, but no one can give you any advice or help you when you ask such a general question and don't provide any details on what's going on in your map.

Okay, okay, let me explain. I can only play singleplayer maps, like cmt spv3 a50. That is it. I can play the .yelo map. But I cannot play multiplayer maps. However, I think me not being able to play sp maps made by me might be on my part. I don't know if that is it, though.

what about regular singleplayer .map files? What happens when you try to play mp maps? Exception?

Well, when I play the .map version, it freezes up.

Weird question, do you have any gamepads set up in your player profile?

Oh, yes. But mp worked before with them. (I am usually a console gamer)

Try deleting your user profile and remaking it. I had an issue recently where my game would stall when loading SP maps because of mine and this POS Chinese controller I accidentally bought off amazon.

Well, I tried that, and it didn't work. Do you think it might have something to do with OS?

I'd uninstall OS, and then HEK, and then CE and put them back one step at a time

I think I might know what it was. Would uninstalling Custom Edition without uninstalling HEK do that? EDIT: I reinstalled everything, like you said, and it still exceptions! In developer mode.

Did you try to run it without OS installed?

Are you attempting to run any of the official Halo SP maps recompiled with your tags or it is a fully custom map?

Sorry I took so long to respond, I installed Win 7 to my PC. I have tried running it without os and on stock maps, but it still won't work. Also, I rebooted my firewall.
