Is there a way for AI to melee players with their weapon? The AI I'm testing with is using the cyborg biped. It doesn't melee enemies when they get close.

Have you set up their actor variant in Guerilla?

The cyborg and elite have different melee animation set ups. Basically because the cyborg is the player, and is never an AI. AI use .JMA animations while the cyborg uses JMR, which is totally different. The AI's melee controls how it moves while meleeing. The player's melee is just a replacement animation to the top half of the biped, so there is no movement. Players cant use AI melee animations (jma) and AI cant use player melee animations. (JMR). You will either have to remake the melee animations or re-export them as a .JMA.

i think i can help and alot easier than importing and exporting thingies,
open the cyborg animations(copy one as for backup)
then scroll down to the very bottom of the tag. there, u should see the tab about all the animations. find the cyborg melee anims and then change the option to base (its there uhmm... the optional tab? eg. base, replacement and the other one)
just change the selection to base. then voila!

tell me the result. cant post pics sorry, my PC back home has no internet so i rent one for downloading and checking up stuff :D

I'm pretty sure that will not work as you expected.
EDIT:No melee for AI.Your method failed miserably.
