Hello I am request a tutorial on how to make a waterfall but in video I have some errors and following the tutorials written an example the last time I export my structure and I came across the waterfall that had failures of vertices and must be eliminated and follow the steps of the 2 tutorials halomaps please help me with a video tutorial but from the beginning because the last video that made me Higuy and the latter did not explain step-by-step where to find the model, etc.. hi,
no animation is needed to make a waterfall, it's just made by creating a plane in 3ds max.
then you add the texture (for example timberland_waterfall) you will find that in data/levels/test/timberland. put that texture on your plane then add ! to the end of the texture name in the material editor. like this timberland_waterfall!

copy the timberland_waterfall.shader_transparent_chicago_extended from the tags/levels/test/timberbland folder. copy and paste that into your tags/levels/nameofmap/shaders folder.
that should be it done.

ah i see, i just double checked the ghosts pdf waterfall tutorial to make sure
it's just the ! that is needed.

% is for double sided. Use % only if you are making a cave behind the water fall or something similar where you are required to be able to see both sides of the waterfall.

OK wait you say with put this symbol (%) in all waterfall materials and plane example timberland_warerfall% and whit this symbol tool don´t send this error for geometry in the waterfall´s. Ok I am try i am reply on the post for the finish tool send. XD

so it worked or what?
incase you didn't understand the ! gets added to the waterfall material name, and as XlzQwerty1
if you want the waterfall polygons to show the textures on both sides then add % aswell
not on it's own.
