Ok, I haven't played online on haloce for a while (been alpha testing maps in LAN), so I went to join internet match and it said to update... So I updated and the updates said to run as admin so I right clicked and clicked on run as admin... But... It still says need to log on as user with admin privileges. There is only one user on my pc and run as admin works with everything else so could anyone please help?!żĄ

Right click the update program, and try clicking on "Run as Administer".

Add a firewall exception for the CE updater. Edited by abkarch on Jun 29, 2012 at 01:42 PM

Not too sure if this would help, but if Halo's updater doesn't work you can download the patches here and install the updates with them instead: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=1&sid=38

I'm on windows 7, and I have tried the patches already but it still says need to run as admin, even if I right click and click run as admin, it will still come up with that.
Someone could email me a compressed, updated version, without the maps folder. My email can be found on my profile page. Edited by hobbet360 on Jul 2, 2012 at 05:18 AM
