When I try and open any map in Sapien, it crashes (closes) I'm not really sure what to do about this :( I also don't know what file Sapien's error logs are stored in.

you can't mean maps because you don't open maps in sapien, you must mean you tried to open a .scenario which was extracted from a map. all you need to do is look in the halo ce program files folder and look in the file called debug.txt that will have stored the errors you got (they will probably be tag errors). you can give it the once over and see if you can work it out, or just post the last paragraph.
