Hi guys, just wanted to know how to make waterfalls. I read some .pdf text tutorial that was stupid, so if someone could teach my step by step how to do this that would be great. I only know how to model maps right now so that is why I am asking.

Hey.
Okay, first things first. In 3dsMax, make a new material. Find a waterfall texture (such as the one located in data\levels\test\timberland\bitmaps), and make the material name "*insert bitmap name here*!"
Remove the quotations and asterisk, put the name of the bitmap in, keep the !.
The ! makes the waterfall non collidable.
Next, make the geometry the texture will go on, and unwrap it onto the geometry.
Export, and your good to go! (as long as the material is set up correctly it should work).

Make a face, polygon, etc, apply the material to it, and then use the modifier "UVW Mapping" or "UVW Unwrap".
I can make a video tutorial tomorrow if you want.
