Like if i were to take a mesh and animate it's vertices would the animation work in CE? I'm asking because i want to do a water effect and i'm thinking if i animate the textures and the mesh itself it'd look much better.

Yeah, that was plan B, i was just wondering if anyone had tried it and knew if it worked or not. I'll test it out myself with something simple, and if it doesn't then i'll move on to plan B

Just that you cannot go over the bone/node limit of 64, plus something about being close to 60 makes the rig stuff go screwy.

I went up to 60 once. It was fine for me. It depends on where the bones are I guess. I think if you rig a bone to too little vertecies, they screw up.
