This is not an error about compression or anything complicated/boring like that.
I am attempting to use b30_01.sound_looping in my map. It works and the sound plays, but only a little bit, maybe a few seconds of sound plays, and then there is silence for 13-14 seconds, then a few seconds more of music. I believe that the permutations are experiencing some sort of delay, and judging by the predictability of the delay, I'm sure that it is something that is easily fixable.
Again, the sound works fine, but I don't know how to make the permutations follow directly behind one another. I'm not an expert in sound, but I'm very knowledgeable about scripting, and I'd be glad to help anyone with any particularly complicated scripts who is willing to take the time to help me. No, I can be in a completely isolated area of the map and the same sound thing happens even though the shields are not being changed.
