I'm editing a map on A30 but I made a command list for the AI to get in a gun turret and using the same CL made another bot get into a Wraith. But once they spawn the bots don't get into the vehicles that are right next to them they just stand their and do nothing. Can somebody help me with this i've been struggling with it a while and sometimes they will get in vehicles sometimes not. I just want to know how to make it so that they will DEFINITELY get into the vehicle thats next to them. What should I do?

What bipeds are you using? If you are using marines, I don't think they can even enter a wraith or a covenant turret. If you are, then you have to add animations for them. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure. I'm still learning how to script, so when I find one that works, I'll let you know.

No, I was using an Elite minor plasma rifle for the Wraith and a grunt needler for the turret. And I don't think you need a script for that all you have to do is just change the seat of the wraith to a warthog seat or ghost, I think thats how it works same with the gun turret.

I've been scripting for a while, so I think I can help.

You have to use a function called "vehicle_load_magic," or at least you'll have an easier time if you do.

Vehicle_load_magic has three parameters:

(vehicle_load_magic <vehicle name> <vehicle seat> (<encounter>))

So if I wanted an elite named "wraithdriver1" from my wraith_team1 encounter to get into a wraith named "wraith1" (a wraith has one seat: GT-gunner) then I would write

(vehicle_load_magic wraith1 GT-gunner (ai_actors wraith_team1/wraithdriver1))

Go into your vehicle tags to find what specific seats each vehicle has, but both the Wraith and C_Gun_Turret have the GT-gunner seat as their only seat. Hope this helps; feel free to PM me with any other questions, or e-mail me for a faster response at rickreid555@gmail.com.
