Hello everyone, I'm currently having problems with the open sauce tool regarding my maps.

Though I've successfully made .yelo maps, the BSP seems to be messed up (having rainbow colors all over the place), certain objects and AI won't appear, the textures on some of the vehicles are screwed up...

And some of the sound effects resemble fuzz and static. Does anyone know what's wrong, and how to fix it?

you have various errors from what I hear:

some of your sound tags are corrupt (delete your sounds and re-rip from the Halo PC<<<<< maps)

rainbow bitmaps means they're corrupt, (only rip original halo ce bitmaps from their PC<< [again, not ce] map files)

certain objects and ai not appearing probably mean the collision models, animation graphs, and/or gbx models don't match properly, only reference models animations and models together that you know will sync properly ALSO you may have too many rendered objects on the map or too many ai encounters (only 256 ai are allowed maximum, i believe, and encounters past that limit will not appear)

hope this helps

if nothing else, try posting a similar thread to this in the general discussion thread, it will be more likely to get noticed due to the GD having more web traffic
