I am working with a lightsaber-like weapon. I am searching for ways I can attach light volumes to the First Person model. Is this possible to do or am I out of luck?

I'm not an effects person, so I can't give a certain answer for the FP model, but there is no way that I know of. However, if you look at the plasma rifle, you can see that the light volume on the 3P model is still visible in FP; it doesn't sync with the FP model perfectly, as you can imagine, but that would be one way to do what you're asking about if you can manage to get them to sync in movement well enough.

Attaching light volumes via widgets works like a charm for 3rd person, but unfortunately the light volume does not appear in first person. Maybe there is a work around with this, but I haven't found one yet. I'm not giving up, I'll keep trying to crack this riddle, if I get an answer I'll update you guys and let you know.
