Soo, it's been a while since I've visited this site... A while as in maybe 4 years and I wanted to start playing Halo Custom Edition again because it kept me amused. I wanted to get back into modding the holy heck outta my maps and have fun playing with random people. However, when I used my favorite program Halo Hacker Tools (Since I know how to use it quite well and worked perfectly when I first started to mod my maps years ago) I got this annoying error that said
"Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not find file 'C:\Users\Nick\Desktop\HHT v5\WRONG MAP FILE'."
Naturally, I was confused, pressed Continue anyways and none of the normal tags and options appeared. I quit out, tried again and pressed details and got a long string of text that says quote unquote
"See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box."
I dunno if anyone is still coming onto these forums but hey, if anyone can help me please, be my guest.
Solutions I tried; Un-installing Halo CE and re-installing -- Failed Un-installing and re-installing HHK -- Failed

First of all, (I couldn't really read due to the red) Are you trying to use Halo Custom Edition with HHT? Edited by Spartan314 on Mar 2, 2012 at 04:08 AM

Sorry, my signature text colour... And yes, it worked 4-5 years ago when I used to play... Now it no longer works.

Ooh thanks. I was beyond confused because I knew for a fact it used to work, now that I know of a way to get it to work again thats great since I know how to use HHT better. Though I should learn other programs since it has been a while..
Thanks again though!

Quote: --- Original message by: l283023Quote: --- Original message by: Spartan314 Well it's well known that you can't use HHT with Halo Custom Edition. HHT only works with Halo Combat Evolved.
For Halo Custom Edition we use the Halo Editing Kit and Open Sauce. It's unknown to most, but you can use HHT with Halo Custom Edition. Why else would Dennis host it on this site? I'm kinda curious though, why would HHT still be used if the HEK can already do the stuff HHT can do, possibly way better? (I hope I ain't threadjacking, but if I am, sorry)
