here's what you should do first do what teh lag suggested to do which is disable motion blur, disable fxaa,disable dynamic lighting, one thing that helps a lot is to turn off specular. also you can increase your virtual memory which uses some hard drive space to act as if it were ram helpful for those with poor ram,to do this on your desktop go to control panel,system,advance,click settings under performance,click advance, click change under virtual memory,now change the numbers in the initial size and maximum the higher the numbers the better but more space it takes up in hard drive also the custom size circle should be only one filled in,now click set,ok,apply and reboot your computer well hope this helps you guys. please give feedback on if this helped you at all.PS doing the increase virtual memory step also will give less lag when recording.

Do NOT set virtual memory to maximum unless you're absolutely certain your computer can actually handle it.
A better solution would be to spend even just £50 on a computer that can actually run the OS features NATIVELY. It'd seriously only cost £50-£100 to get a computer that can at least run the HD textures and Dynamic lighting, even if you have to disable VISR and Motion Blur. Remember, you can get 16gb ram for about £56(Ebuyer) these days. Quarter of that is NOT expensive at all. |

The 'delaginator' worked... pretty good. I still experienced lag, but it was less than last time. My advice:
Turn off motion blur, fxaa, whatever else he said. Then set your graphics to medium or even low, then your particles to low or none, then disable shadow, decals, spec. It works. |
