this is the error I get in tool OS

Invalid format in data file bitmaps
### FAILED TO OPEN DATA-CACHE FILE.

Invalid format in data file sounds
### FAILED TO OPEN DATA-CACHE FILE.

Invalid format in data file loc
### FAILED TO OPEN DATA-CACHE FILE.

WARNING: 11 clusters in structure_bsp levels\test\tutorial\tutorial have no back
ground sound or sound environment.
pre-processing custom tag instances...
done
culling uncompressed model vertices...done
culling uncompressed structure bsp vertices...done
culling uncompressed model animation data...done

what are you using as arguments for OSTool? because its trying to use a mod-set (which doesn't exist apparently)

ostool build-cache-file-ex "" false false true levels\test\tutorial\tutorial
Red - If you are using new features, leave it as true. Otherwise, change it to false so it will compile as a .map file instead of .yelo
Blue - Replace with scenario path. I'm just going with that because your BSP its referencing.

the "" in the mod name slot means you have no mod name, so it couldn't be located as part of a mod set. Next two falses relate to mod set's.

well I wanted to try the vehicle boarding and other stuff like unit infections.This is what I did os_tool build-cache-file-ex "" false false true levels\test\os_test\test_os

so it gave you that error with "" false false true? because it shouldn't be touching the mod sets with those settings... did you put any mod name in your project_yellow_global's or something? (never used those settings since ive never needed a mod set, so idk if it would override ostool or not)

the "" false false true were not touching and I didn't give it a mod name. do you by chance have team viewer so that you could take look at it.oh yeah also every time I try to compile the map I get a message saying OS tool has encountered a problem and needs to close I hit ok and it doesn't close.

Who doesn't have teamviewer now a days? lol, I was the person who introduced the HCE Community to teamviewer.

ok guys so korman told me to install latest OS so I did now I get this
