I have 1760KB of upload bandwidth, and I'm trying to host a 4v4 game of team slayer on a few custom maps, but I've been running into a few problems. I've been trying to host this server for the past week, but I cannot find out how. I've done the steps of the written tutorial on the Halo CE page on how to create a server, and I've followed them the best that I could.
Now, I've experienced two different outcomes by rebooting the server. Scenario 1: The server is listed on the gamespy master server, but I cannot join it. Scenario 2: The server does not appear on the master server.
If there is a way to solve this problem, I would definitely love to know the solution.
(And some more questions)
If the solution involves me forwarding my ports, then which ports would be internally ported or externally ported? (I can follow the tutorial on which ones to forward, and which ones are UDP and TCP)
Also, if I have open sauce installed, then do I have to use the OS_haloceded. I tried it earlier today, and all I got was an exception error. If there is a way to get around this, I would love to know.
Thank you for your time. -mini0013xx

You've read all the guides on hce.halomaps.org? because you being unable to join the server is normal if you don't change the ports both the dedi, and your client are running on. And about OS dedi, read this http://code.google.com/p/open-sauce/issues/detail?id=13&can=1 you can either manually recompile OS, or wait for someone to upload the compiled updated file.

I read all the ones that had to do with hosting a server, yes. (Or at least I believe so). Anyway, thank you.
