How would you go about porting a model from Halo CE to garry's mod? Like say I wanted to port this http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6119 into Gmod. What would I have to edit or change?

This is an example of how unhelpful some people here are. Didn't you realise they'd say the same thing at facepunch? To ask in a halo forum?

use the http://ghost.halomaps.org/bluestreak/gbxmodel/ <<gbx model importer.
maybe tell them at facepunch you have a weapon model you want to port into gmod and need
to know how to do it.
i think it would be better having the model to show them instead of a haloce link.

Well maybe it's not us, but facepunch. If you were to have something ported to CE, I'm sure people would've been more helpful. But since you're taking a Halo asset into a different game, people can't help.

Unfortunately most people here work with the tools used to create or import objects INTO Halo CE and are most likely to be unfamiliar with the requirements of the Source Engine and GMOD. You may have better luck obtaining information in a GMod or source engine forum.

Well, first you'd need to find a way to extract the models from Halo CE, and then you'd have to find Garry's Mod tutorials for actually importing models(I don't believe there are any steps needed to convert it to work with Garry's Mod as it's just a model like any other model used in Garry's Mod. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me).
