hi guys
i have decided to release this shade that i have recently completed as i have bored and i dont want them to go to waste.

sorry joddy i couldnt upload screenshots anymore so i used yours lol.
Credits:
Joddy- shaders
maniac1000- for those amazing cubemaps :)
me- for animating, rigging, tagging etc
advancebo- for fixing up the normals and model
bungie- for hek and the texture + models
errrr i think its zteam- for the original sounds and shade projectile
h3rshy- collision

Hello mister cheddar :D Its a very good shade turret i see here !!! ^^ If you want i have a very good projectile for that and i can make shaders for you ;) I will post pictures to show you :D

ok. Btw I just found out the projectile doesn't do any damage so youll have to copy stuff out of the c gun turrets effect tags. I can upload a fix one If you want.

It's a cool turret and looks great imo. Proof that you don't need OS to have great looking shaders :-)

I never use OS and my shaders looks good, OS is not very important ;)

Point is that OS is NOT required to have great looking shaders. You people go berserk over bump maps and normals lol. I mean honestly if graphics are so important to some of you you might as well start looking into a new engine such as UDK or CryEngine3 which has that stuff and ALOT more.

That turret could look even better without OS. People simply dont try with rips that much to make them look good with the standard things Halo supports. Spartan094 did an amazing job with the H3 ODST's and H3 frigate for Lumoria without using fake bumps or OS at all.

You don't need to edit the bitmap to make it "shinier"

But then people would expect awesome gameplay with Physx... and that's just... UNACCEPTABLE. Good gameplay? Don't be ridiculous.
